Monsters: Completely Edited on Premiere & FX with After Effects!

There was no green screen used in the making of this movie. It was written, directed, shot and Afx'd by one man. There were only 2 paid professional actors in it and the crew was a sound recordist, an on-site editor and a producer. They only used a tripod twice (I'm going to regret saying that) and they used Adobe Premiere to edit with, on a laptop, and After Effects for the compositing.

Matthieu Bessudo, aka McBess, is French, lives in London and graduated from the art school Supinfocom in 2006. His old school comic style and multi layered subject matter break new ground in animation and illustration circles. He also makes videos for The Dead Pirates.

Chroma Key and Lighting

The Lighting and Chroma Keying in this piece worked really well on TV - almost fooled me at the time. The blue screen doesn't work so well on the small screen but you can see how effective the lighting set-ups for the studio set are.

Also a very ironic 'joke' by Mr Gervais...
